Caledonia Youth Football's 7th and 8th grade tackle programs are a part of the West Michigan Middle School Conference (WMMSC). Their Philosophy is to provide middle school students the opportunity to participate in an interscholastic athletic setting under the philosophies and guidelines outlined below:
- Benefits: The goal of each school is to work with all students of different skill levels to develop their talents, and allow them to receive the positive benefits of the interscholastic athletics with the rules and regulations of MHSAA
- Participation: Any student who meets the regulations of their school and MHSAA shall have the opportunity to participate on an interscholastic athletic team without being "cut" from the team due to size or ability, if withing the school's resources to do so. Each participant will have a guaranteed amount of participation time, as designed in each sport philosophy
- Sportsmanship: Good sportsmanship by both coaches and players should be exemplified at all time.
