Middle School Football - 7th/8th Grades
What is Middle School Football?
Middle School Football (CYFA) is designed to prepare athletes for the next level by combining skill development, football IQ, and team competition in a structured environment. Focused on grades 7th and 8th, this program emphasizes proper fundamentals, position-specific training, and game strategy while continuing to prioritize safety and player development. Athletes will experience a more competitive format while building confidence, leadership, and a strong foundation aligned with the Caledonia Varsity Football program.
MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL SEASON
CYFA offers flag football in the fall and spring to boys and girls ages 5 through 14. Our fall league runs from August to October and our spring league runs from April to June. Both seasons start with practice or camp followed by a 6 week regular season. After the regular season, teams compete in the playoffs to determine 1st-3rd place in each division. Regardless of the season, all games take place on Sundays.
